The latest version of PageBuilder (3.0d), while it is the same as the previous version (3.0c1), requires no registration of any sort.

What they say about PageBuilder
Version 3.0 is the commercial version of the top-rated PageBuilder HTML editor, and has been awarded the top rating by, amongst others, NoNags ("The Best"), Rocketdownload.com ("Stupendous"), Planète Quebec, Internet Monitor and ZD Net ("a world class HTML editor"). ZDNet also featured PageBuilder in Jesse Berste's AnchorDesk in May 1999.
In May 2001 Lee Creek, in Web Developer's Virtual Library, said "While I frequently review decent HTML programs, I always find myself going back to Homesite.... That may soon change. A product by TaFWeb - PageBuilder 3.0c - is flirting dangerously close to drawing me over to its full-time use."
VOLftp of Italy said "Buono, mantiene le promesse. Quasi perfetto" (Good, keeps its promises. Nearly perfect). From PCHome of Hong Kong, PageBuilder got their highest "6 Bees" rating.
PCWin Resource Center in their review said "...In light of its full complement of HTML tools, and its easy to use interface, PageBuilder is an excellent product." Comparing PageBuilder with WYSIWYG editors they said that PageBuilder "...far surpasses them in its usefulness to the more accomplished user."

- Added the facility to check on-line for future versions of PageBuilder.
Changes in Version 3.0c
- There is now a choice whether a modified file should be saved or not when viewed in the Internal Browser.
- The Publish function has been extended so that the user can set up named groups of folders (the MultiPublish and MultiCopy functions). The user can also choose whether to create a log of all files Published in this way.
- Multiple files can now be copied or Published (MultiCopy and MultiPublish) from the file list using either the file list context menu or the Publish menu.
- A new Publish facility allows for the insertion of a "Last Major Revision" and "Last Minor Revision" date into a document.
- Removed "shift+right click" for core attributes context menu and replaced it with "Attributes" on main context menu. Selecting this lists all possible attributes for the selected tag. Selecting from this list of attributes then allows a value to be entered.
- Moved "Help on <TAG>" to top of context menu next to "Attributes".
- If a style sheet is present, the <SPAN> and <DIV> buttons now give a list of the defined styles.
- Added a "Prepare Keyword List" button to Meta Tag form - this scans the current document and produces a list of words in order of frequency. Selected words can then be transferred to the Keywords field.

A custom selection of a number of sessions, hours, days or weeks is also offered. Note - session dates/times are now recorded in a text file "sessions.ini" in the PageBuilder folder.
- Added two buttons to "Common" tab to insert and delete Perl comment marks ("#").
- Added keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+< and Ctrl+>) to insert "<" and ">" entities.
- The tagbar scroll buttons now work the correct way (i.e. the way you would expect!)
- Corrected a fault which caused the image mapper to select and delete the wrong image in some circumstances when editing an existing image map.
- The executable file is now considerably smaller.
Windows XP Version
Earlier downloads of version 3.0c.1 corrupt the HTML file when colouring tags in Windows XP. If you downloaded a copy before 24 December 2001 and want to use it with Windows XP you should download a new copy PageBuilder. The new version contains no other new features - it simply corrects the tag colouring. The version available below is Windows XP compatible.
